riding lessons for children and adults

With 40 years of professional instruction, Little Britain Stables is Northern Kentucky's best choice for riders who want to learn proper horsemanship. We focus on creating a solid foundation,  providing balanced riding and understanding the equine. The skills you learn can be applied to pleasure riding, trail riding or the show ring. 

Group Lessons are for for children ages 7 and up through adult. We sometimes have a tiny tot program for ages 2-6 depending on instructor availability. If you need more information on Tiny Tots, please contact us. 

Our lessons are $45 each and payment is due on the first on the month for all lessons that month. 

What you need: 

• Helmet - schooling quality
• Gloves - leather or cloth for riding
• Jeans or riding pants (no leggings) 
• Boots or a shoe with a heel. Paddock boots preferred. 
• No bling on clothes or boots 

The trainer/instructor will choose what horse or pony is best for the rider, which may include simulator lessons. It is at Little Britain's discretion as to whether the lesson will be in the simulator room or the arena. 

Our equine simulators are the only ones of their kind found east of the Mississippi. They are used for riding lessons, practice riding, conditioning, rehabbing from injury and physical therapy.
