Group Lessons
With 40 years of professional instruction, Little Britain Stables is Northern Kentucky's best choice for riders who want to learn proper horsemanship. We focus on creating a solid foundation, providing balanced riding and understanding the equine. The skills you learn can be applied to pleasure riding, trail riding or the show ring.
Group Lessons are for children ages 7 and up through adult. We also have a Tiny Tot Riding program for ages 6 and under (see details below).
Our lessons are $45 each and payment is due on the first on the month for all lessons that month.
What you need:
- Helmet - schooling quality
- Gloves - leather or cloth for riding
- Jeans or riding pants (no leggings)
- Boots or a shoe with a heel. Paddock boots preferred.
- No bling on clothes or boots
The trainer/instructor will choose what horse or pony is best for the rider, which may include simulator lessons. It is at Little Britain's discretion as to whether the lesson will be in the simulator room or the arena.
Lessons Schedule
Group Lessons are one hour and held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Times are 4pm, 5pm and 6pm one day per week.
Lessons are given in an indoor arena. Riding simulators in a heated room are also incorporated into lessons.

New tiny TOT Program
For Ages 6 and under
We have waited for the right person to come along that fits our expectations of what a qualified instructor/trainer is when it comes to our lesson programs. And we can confidently say we hit the jackpot! Toria Heck, mother of three-year-old son Aiden, is not only an alumni of Little Britain Stables, but is a decorated equitation rider, a World Cup competitor, a graduate of Ohio University and a professional trainer of 14 years.

Beginner Riding Package
New to Riding?
Our Beginner Package will teach the basics with one-to-one instruction. Includes 4 private lessons, then the rider can be incorporated into one of our Group Lessons. Package cost is $220.
Equine simulators
For Riding and Rehabilitation
Our equine simulators are the only ones of their kind found east of the Mississippi. They are used for riding lessons, practice riding, conditioning, rehabbing from injury and physical therapy.
