Our Summer Horse Camps are a great way for children to learn about horses in a fun and safe environment. Your camper will take part in all aspects of horse care, receive daily riding lessons and have a little time for "Horse Play" too!
FALL DAYS OF CAMP
Dates: November 4 & 5, 2024 from 8am-5pm
Several local schools are off these days, so it's a great alternative to spending the day on a device. Come to the farm instead! Choose one day or both.
About
Campers will learn the basics of horse care, interact with our horses, and enjoy being on the farm. This is a good way for your child to experience what it's like to ride a horse by riding one of our full-size simulators. If you are considering starting a riding program or getting a horse, this is also a good way to see if it's a good fit for your child.
Cost
2-day camp is $150 per camper. If you choose only to attend 1 day camp, it will be $100 per camper.
Registration Information
Registration is due by November 1. Email lbshorsecamp2024@gmail.com to receive a registration packet. We require the entire payment at the time of registration. The registration fee is non-refundable. However, we can use the amount towards a credit for lessons if unable to attend camp.
What to Wear
All campers must wear jeans or riding pants, closed toe shoes. NO Open toe shoes, Crocs or flip flops. No baggy shirts, they can become entangled in equipment and can lead to injury. No dangling earrings or necklaces. If your camper wears a medical alert bracelet, please make sure it fits snugly.
What to Bring
Campers will need to pack lunch and bring a water bottle daily.
SUMMER camp 2024
Additional Information
Our Summer Horse Camps take place at our farm in Burlington, KY. Please know that safety is our top priority and your camper will be taught by knowledgeable and experienced staff.
Camps are designed for ages 7 and up. They start June 10 and run through July 26. Five day week programs are $500 per rider, or three day week programs are $300 per rider. If selecting a 3 day week program, chose from the weeks below and your camper will come Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of that week.
We require full payment at the time of registration via PayPal to littlebritainfarm@fuse.net, Venmo Stephanie England-Grey last four digits 0892 or by check or cash.
